Health & Safety Inspections

A regular scheduled inspection of a unit or department carried out by an audit team involving management, employee representatives and a safety advisor.

Not as concentrated as a full audit, an inspection is a snapshot of the workplace at the time the inspection is carried out.

The inspection checks maintenance standards, employee involvement, working practices to ensure work is being carried out in accordance with procedures and legislation.

A full report with suggested corrective actions is submitted to ensure that any non conformances are corrected before they turn into an accident or claim
